WE FOUND THE HOUSE!
This is the good archaeological news at Ferry Farm, George Washington's boyhood home on the Rappahannock (Revolution=Rivers and Civil War=Railroads...thank you, Arch Hunter!).
We stood and listened to an interesting lecture by the archaeologist about finding it and what that means. It was interesting to begin learning about the Washingtons.
