Cemetery at Manzanar

Cemeteries are such poignant places. They really make you think. More rocks were arranged to remember and honor their dead. An obelisk. A fence. Paper cranes. I wanted to leave an apple, but K wouldn't let me.

  1. Have you been to Camp Floyd? (I'm sure you have!) They used ground penetrating radar at the cemetery there, they have at least marked the graves even if they don't know who is in them. I was kind of surprised that there were only a few marked graves at Manzanar, I felt awkward just traipsing through the cemetery, when I could possibly walking across someone's resting place. I wondered if they would ever do the radar thing or had most of the burials been moved elsewhere?
