Miss Lunny

What a coincidence that Matsuda Shimai and Miss Lunny live in the same stake and used to be in the same ward! Miss Lunny is one of my former student teachers. She is married and has four children. She is still just as amazing as ever!

Miss Lunny had actually already done her student teaching in Massachusetts, but her cooperating teacher didn't really ever let her teach. Anything. So when she came out west to BYU, she asked if she could student teach again and they hooked her up with me. What a remarkable person she is.

We didn't get to visit for long, but she came to Church early on Easter Sunday so we could sit on the sofa in the foyer and catch up a little bit before the rest of her family arrived. Miss Lunny is a person of strength and character. She has faced life's challenges with everything she's got. I hope to be more like her someday.

The church meetings were at Mormon Center next to the Sacramento LDS Temple, so we took some pictures on that lovely Easter Sabbath.
