Leland's Mansion and Other Historic Things

This is a bit of a hodge-podge post. We stopped by the historic governor's mansion built by Leland Stanford back in the day. He had money and loved to show it! I rather enjoyed the orange tree and California poppies. We did not take a tour. We also checked out the Western Railway Museum and took a ride on an historic electric streetcar. Parking in San Francisco has its own set of rules, but we, in the red vehicle, were parked in an actual parking lot with painted lines and everything. This guy decided he needed to back his big white pickup into the space behind ours! That's it for this post!
